<Tab/>The 1920s was a time where the United States went through many changes and its economy prospered. The country grew because of the many new inventions such as the automobile and the radio. Social groups also went under changes, such as women who became more independent and African Americans who were highly discriminated due to the return of the Ku Klux Klan. Even though the country just came out of a war, it still remained a very powerful force and allowed the country to expand more then ever.
