In this movie the costumes showed that the characters were those of a higher class by the way they dressed. They enjoyed spending time drinking tea, going to church, going to balls, painting, shopping, doing archery, listening to classical music, and stitching. A couple times in the movie it showed people in the background of a lower class tending to sheep, it was common for those who didn't have as much money to be Shepard's. This film did a great job of portraying the costumes of this era. It takes a lot to be able to recreate the Victorian era with such grace and elegance, and Michael O'Connor did an amazing job.…
