CONCLUSION
To conclude, there is really no reason to not apply moral principles in business. In fact, that not just because of the substance of ethics in the world of business, but also because ethics are a vital component in human lives, and thus according to Velasquez (1998), we cannot ignore it in any human activity including business. However, few business people applying morality in business. In my opinion this is related to four main reasons which are:
First, the disadvantages of globalisation which is widespread around the world. Second, moving away from religions and traditional values. Third, the decline in standards of morality in many societies around the world. Finally, money has become the most important thing all over the world. Therefore, greedy people will do any thing to earn as much money as possible. Certainly in the light of Machiavelli's (1469 - 1527) theory, the purpose justified means.
