George W. Bush failed the American people in Iraq, the international stage, and ruined U.S. foreign policy. As a society, we must realize these points. He lied to the American public and lied to the international community. He lost face for America and lost credibility in the world. He mishandled the issue of Iraq and is causing the U.S. to lose the war on terror. He is ignorant on the fact that CO2 and other various chemicals are contributing to global warming.
Iraq was mishandled from the beginning. Many people points fingers at the Clinton administration because Clinton did not "do enough" on the war on terror. The truth is, Clinton had a plan to catch Osama bin Laden, and it was Bush who scrapped the plan at the beginning of his presidency. Bush merely used 9/11 as an excuse to attack Iraq. The Bush administration had a plan to attack Iraq since the beginning. The total war on Iraq was not only unjustified, but also lost much face on the international stage. If you can recall, Colin Powell paraded numerous pictures of so called "Hot Sites" at the U.N. Special Meeting regarding W.M.D., so where are the W.M.D.'s?
Late 2003 and early 2004, George W. Bush went before Congress to ask for over $87 billion dollars to aid Iraq.
