During the modern era the term "sex" and "sexuality" have being inherently linked to the conception concerning the biological differences between the male and female body. The word sex as refers to both the physical activity of intercourse and the anatomical and physiological characteristics of the male and female bodies.
In today's society sexuality has become the central basis of knowing who we are and for forming our own sense of identity. Sex is rapidly becoming a fundamental part of our lives. Sex is more often used to express our identities rather than class, status and ethnicity.
