It was dark outside and raining hard. I was alone in the house and had just settled down to watch TV, when I heard a loud noise outside the door. It was police siren just by my door. Suddenly, I felt very frightened. I went outside and saw a police officer, who was drenched to the bone and looked thoroughly furious. My heart was beating swiftly, while we were staring at each other. I didn’t have any idea why the police was onto me.
