Conclusion
In conclusion, Team C demonstrated how it will effectively analyze and use statistics in solving business related problems. The team gave critical thought to several businesses facing a variety of business problems today, and through team consensous selected Continental Airlines as a case study to analyze form a statistical perspective. Team C established a research gameplan for its project and decided to look at Continental Airlines and the issue of how the company found ways to improve the process of collecting more timely and relevant consumer data in the industry. This research design of the team will include researching the data mining databases at it Reservation Call Centers and analyzing the impact of the Callminer speech analytics system on improving the customer service provided by the airline. By analyzing this data, Team C will be able to make inferences as to the actual value of the information provided to the company decision makers in an attempt to improve the customer service and overall standing of the airline within the industry.
