This extraordinary man like no other, Martin Luther King Jr believed in equal rights. Fighting for this cause made him an extremely popular figure in history. By protesting he gained many hearts as well as improved laws. He was one of a kind, to be remembered for years to come.
Martin Luther King grew up in the USA at a time when black people were segregated from white people. He campaigned for equal rights for blacks using non-violent methods of protest. He was assassinated while speaking in Tennessee, but the message he preached resulted in improved conditions for black Americans.
