Conclusion
I strongly believe that accelerating urbanization, technological breakthroughs and demographic change are affecting tourism industry significantly. Within great opportunities come also the biggest challenges. People should be more aware of these things and create action plans. Countries governments should invest more in security and defence organizations if a country is vulnerable to such distressing event such as terrorism. If countries governments do not address these issues it might lead to great loss from the best income sources which are tourism related services. There is an emerging need for more innovative and corporate travel. Technology has the potential to make travel easier, less stressful and more convenient. Virtual reality could potentially solve mass tourism issues. It can also help to develop more sustainable products and supply different industries such as hospitality with healthy alternative foods. In fact, that is extremely important to tourism industry as people are becoming more health conscious. Moreover, seniors will become the most consuming tourist group by 2050. Future tourism industry leaders should follow and analyse travel trends, address issues and create action plans. That would allow to be more prepared and would contribute to the global economic prosperity.
