The medical value of marihuana has become increasingly clear to many physicians and patients. There are three reasons for this. First, it is remarkably non-toxic. Unlike most of the medicines in the present pharmacopoeia, it has never caused an overdose death. Its short-term and long-term side effects are minimal compared to medicines for which it will be substituted.
