Riga airport is fast growing development with very central location and good opportunities.
For as small country as Latvia airport is very well organized, modern and very reasonable sized. It is the largest international aviation company in Baltic countries that operates regular passenger flights and cargo transportation. Many bigger countries has smaller airports, very disorganized and passenger unfriendly. Riga airport is friendly to everyone – people before check in and after check in. There are seats provided for everyone, many things to do and where to stay in case flight is delayed. Many airports has a lot of services after security check, but nothing before that. RIX is not one of them – there are few very good size restaurants where to have a meal or drink with your beloved ones before departure, many small kiosks and help desks for any enquiries.
Overall Riga International airport is very successful story starting from being “beneath USSR shoes” and ending up as very successful international business with award winning services and facilities!
