Marx single- handedly changed Russian history forever, by sparking its revolution with his public criticism of the corrupt society that favored the rich and hindered the working class. The working class was far more numerous and used Marx's tactics as an impetus to turn the cycle of power into its favor (Reiss 45). Marx's works were considered (and still are) to be the working class bible (Rius 14).
CONCLUSION:
When prompted with the question: "Who was the most influential person in the history of the world?" In response, one has to include not only the person, but also those who that person influenced at that time, and then again those who were influenced by those people, etc. Marx has clearly the broadest influence base in the past 200 years, touching every human being in numerous ways, including average, everyday working people, along with great political leaders.
In the future, the co-authors predict that Marx's influence will continue to reign over how societies evolve, as only time will tell.
