The four functions of management are planning, organizing, leading and controlling. Management in a company or even in your home life is to be able to reach the goals set in an organized way by being as efficient and effective as possible. Management is creative problem solving.
Planning is the management function of systematically making decisions about the goals and activities that an individual, a group, a work unit, or the overall organization will pursue in the future. Without a plan you basically have nothing to organize. In this function, you are setting goals and objectives, then you schedule the steps to achieve the goals in a certain time. You need to be able to set the goals and decide the best way to achieve them by analyzing, anticipating and figuring out the resources. …
