On the 7th of October 2006 the Latvians were being called to elect the 100 members of the Saeima, the only Chamber in Parliament. 19 political parties or alliances representing about 40 parties and 1,025 candidates are taking part in this election. For the very first time regional parties represented in the national elections.
These parties together with over well-known candidates conducted their campaign using different strategies and various types of Mass Media.…
