Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are essentially good individuals who make an immoral judgement. It is dishonest to describe them as "this dead butcher and his fiend - like queen". They are valued individuals who reveal a loving connection. Their decline is triggered by their ambition for Macbeth to be great, sparked by the witches' prophecy, and not because they are evil.
