Malcolm X, a civil rights leader in the 1960's believed that blacks and whites should be segregated. He also believed that white men were evil and tried to brainwash all blacks and that Martin Luther King's "non-violent protests" were not working. For example, Malcolm once said, "We are nonviolent with people who are nonviolent with us," which portrays his opposition towards non-violent protests. In addition, he believed that violence was needed for a change in society. Malcolm X lived a life that involved an enormous amount of violence and with a lot of conflict. He was born under the name of Malcolm Little in Omaha, Nebraska in 1925.
