For this internal assessment topic, I chose to look at statistics, which is a branch of applied mathematics that involves the collection, description, analysis, and inference of conclusions from quantitative data. The mathematical theories behind statistics rely heavily on differential and integral calculus, linear algebra, and probability theory.- but more specifically at the correlation between these two variables which are the number of tests made and positive cases found. . As the world is facing a global pandemic already for 2 years and Covid-19 virus spread keeps increasing more precisely I will be looking at Latvia's statistics of Covid-19. I chose to create my internal assessment about this topic because I want to raise awareness of this issue which is a lack of supporting data and information to the society that would For example, The headline of the newspaper where it as example states that there are 2000 new case found in the last 24 hours and people are so rushed and busy with their lives that often they do not go further than the headline and “jump” into false conclusions.…
