4 Dental trauma is injury to the dentition and it surrounding tissues. The most common dental trauma is a broken or lost tooth and different kind of soft tissue tears and lacerations which result in pain, swelling and bruising.
5 But what to do if the tooth is already out and you’re holding it in your hand and looking at it with tears in your eyes?! It’s simple! Put it back in place if it’s possible or just put between the cheek and gums. Studies have shown that milk is not the best option, best option is specially designed saline solution or your saliva. Seek dental treatment in two hours time.
