In the year 2002, The amount of Firearm homicides in Germany was 381, in France 255, in Canada 165, in the UK 68, in Australia 65, in Japan 39, but in the United States this number skyrockets to an unbelievable 11,127 homicides by firearms. Unfortunately, we have had the highest fatality rate out of another country, but why? In a year Americans watches about 1,560 hours of television. Media has a great impact on our society today. Another thing that impacts Americans minds to a great extent is there environment. Not only as a child, but as an adult as well. Where somebody was brought up and how they were brought up greatly effects some personal decisions made by some people. A third aspect of why our gun rate is so high is the lack of education children have on guns and the harmful effects of them. These three things are prime examples of why the United States has the highest gun fatality rate in the entire world.…
