Since Hitler was able to conquer many lands, now all he had to do was to hold on to it. When Britain attacked Germany, Hitler sent an army to conquer Soviet Union. Although at first the army was successful, it was soon stopped by the Soviet Union. German people had to struggle in making armaments for the army, and food was becoming scarce. Many families lost their family members while fighting the Soviet Union.
Although Germany was attending the war, Hitler still did not stop persecuting the Jews. In 1941, he came with the "Final Solution" - the extermination camps. Extermination camps, also called the death camp which killed more Jews than ever by putting them in gas chambers. Also, Jews were used as medical experiments.
During the 1943-1944, Germany was heavily bombed. The German army was losing many soldiers, and the major cities were disastrous. Eventually, Russian troops walked into Berlin, and Germany lost the war.
