When faced with the political conversation my first instinct has always been to steer clear. You know the saying "Don't discuss politics or religion". I have managed to keep my political opinions and religious beliefs confidential, until faced with a political research paper. I, myself being a Republican, Christian have conservative beliefs. I am not ashamed to say that I have always maintained my Christian principles and my position has yet to shift.
