Technology of WW1
<Tab/>There were great technological achievements for both sides during World War One. Whenever one side would come up with a new type of weapon, the other side would either research and replicate the weapon, or come up with an even better kind of technology. New technologies and weapons were formed for the land, sea and the air, but most were developed for use on land. There were also many defense mechanisms formed during World War One such as the gas mask and the steel helmet. All of these new technologies were used throughout as well as after the war.
