Fredrick Perls- GESTALT THERAPY
Briefly, this therapy helps people discover the various sides to their personalities. People might have been projecting themselves differently even without realizing it. The "chair" approach encourages people to take the "hot seat" and the "opposite chair" and try to sustain both ends of conversation. For example, an outwardly calm person might discover hidden fears and anger. A person could discover hidden feelings for another person. They could relive their dreams. This technique is called role-playing.
