The American Association of Critical-Care Nurse understands the importance of patient care. The necessity for critical-care nurse to maintain a certain level of alertness is critical for the survival of the patients placed in their care. The aim of the study was to conform if there was any correlation to the amount of hours worked and the occurrence of errors. The research could not have been completed if not for the involvement and help of the 1148 critical-care nurses, and the financial supporter of the study.
