Bulimia is a very serious psychological eating disorder. Bulimia is also called bulimia nervosa. It is characterized by episodes of binge wating followed by inappropriate methods of weight control (purging). Inappropiate methods of wieght control, include vomiting, fasting, enemas, excessive use of laxatives and diuretics, or complulsive exercises.
