There are good examples of corporate websites among assessed companies that illustrates an effective CSR communication. Websites of companies such as Cemex, Eversheds International Limited, The Coca – Cola Company, Latvija Statoil, Swedbank and TeliaSonera AB are easy to navigate and the CSR content is presented in a comprehensive manner. Information about case studies and CSR initiatives helps to evaluate the actual operations performed by companies. A company with less user-friendly website DnB NORD Banka operates a community volunteering project www.izglabsim.lv that shows a creative approach to CSR management. Excerpt from DnB NORD Banka’s website: “This autumn was established DnB NORD Environment Rescue Team that actively gathers information on environmental objects in critical condition throughout Latvia in order to conserve those natural wonders for the next generations”. Latvija Statoil website shares an information about several CSR case studies, one of them is a corporate social marketing project in association with Latvian Road Traffic Safety Department- Latvia Statoil attempts to educate drivers by promoting traffic safety issues. Since corporate website is a powerful platform for companies to inform the key audiences and the general public about their CSR targets and initiatives, it is important to use this platform strategically.
