Through proper training and applying guidelines of the sanitation standards a manufacturing firm can avoid many problems.
Conclusion
Through my research of the FDA I was amazed at the numerous products that the FDA has authority over. This project gave me a better understanding of the FDA's procedures and enforcement capabilities regarding food safety and good manufacturing practices in a food processing facility. Being a part of the food industry, I am skeptic that the FDA can regulate the total food industry that is growing faster than many areas of our economy. In the future I intend to visit the FDA's web site more often to keep abreast of new laws and situations that arise.
