Darba fragmentsAizvērt

Today going abroad is no longer a heart-pounding experience for Didik. Didik often takes multiple trips abroad in one year. He has been to five continents. Didik the impoverished peasant from Temanggung is now transformed into an internationally renowned dancer. Although he is not filthy rich, at least he owns a corporation, his own home, and his own car. The Didik Nini Thowok Dance Studio in Jalan Raya Godean, Yogya, has never lacked students till now. His parents' home in Temanggung (Didik's father has now passed away) has also been renovated. Moreover, Didik has helped his sisters succesfullyt complete their studies.
Now, what more could this single man want as he goes fifty? Isn't he scared of growing old lonely? Didik guffaws. His initially serious expression starts to loosen up. Replying to this question, Didik says, "The point is, I just do my best the things I have to do for today. Tomorrow's obligations are to be dealt with tomorrow."
"I have a bunch of nieces and nephews, by the way. They are all close to me. Especially now that I've got this little one," he introduces a curly-haired toddler boy about 12 months old as he lovingly stroked and kissed the baby's head. He was Aditya Awaras Hadiprayitno, the son of one of Didik's colleague. Didik has been looking after the baby since he was eleven days old.
