A young rock guitarist, Eric Draven, played by Brandon Lee and his fiancé are brutally killed by a gang of criminals. One year after the murders, Eric Draven returns from the grave to seek out his attackers. His task is to avenge his death and his bride to be. He must take out each of the four killers. Helping him along the way is a crow, which is the thing that carries the souls from the land of the living to the land of the dead. In the end, the gang of criminals meets what they have coming to them one by one from a man back from the dead.
