INT - MR. LOBBS OFFICE - DAY
A handshake is seen. We see two men, both dressed in designer business attire and smiling. We hear the voice of MR. LOBBS, the boss of ALEX ALEXANDER discussing business.
MR. LOBBS
Good work this month. Keep up the good work and maybe you'll soon be working side by side with me...swinging golf clubs.
Both men chuckle. Alex Alexander, a wealthy Art director who has led an easy life due to his job. He has graying hair on the side, and loves to dress up.
EXT-COMPANY BUILDING-DAY
Alex walks out of a company building smiling. Above, the company name is seen: Lobbs & Company Designs. He passes by an old lady, very gypsy-looking and weathered. Outside sitting, she asks for a bit of his time.
FORTUNE TELLER
Are you content with your life? Would you like to find out more?
Alex laughs at her. He bends over inches from her face.
ALEX ALEXANDER
Get a real job, lady.
Alex steps into his luxury car and zooms away. As he passes, he inadvertently throws his starbucks cup towards the fortune-teller.
Alex brakes and lets the young blonde walk by, despite the green traffic light, and much honking from behind.
