If my view remains the most popular view and capital punishment is enforced I am sure that the antagonists for capital punishment will not feel that justice is being served; I have to accept that the probability of innocent people being erroneously convicted is a sure thing. I must accept that I could be put to death in error and or someone in my own family. Our court systems are overcrowded and many things are overlooked and under explored. This is not an infallible system but I believe it is the best system we have and there must be capital punishment to deter the senseless taking of human life. According to," The New Abolitionist," one out of every 7 people put to death is innocent." Six are guilty and that is six murderers off the streets where we now live.
