John Fitzgerald Kennedy was the thirty - fifth president of the United States, serving from 1961 until his assassination in 1963.
J. F. Kennedy was the second son of Joseph P. Kennedy and Rose Fitzgerald, who were children of politically active and prominent parents. During his childhood young Kennedy changed several schools, but all of them were well-known and provided excellent education and strict discipline. He graduated cum laude from Harvard with a degree in international affairs in June 1940. His thesis “Appeasement in Munich” about British participation in Munich Agreement was published as a book entitled “Why England slept” and became a bestseller. …
