If the 1920's represented the "Great Party" then the 1930's represented the "Great Mess." This sentence represents the boom bust era and the Depression era. The 1920's was called the boom bust era or the roaring twenties because it was a time of joy and the 1930's was called the Depression because it was the years where Canada was in its depression.
