Pedagogy and Education in a Danish Design - Freedom with Supervision
Using their freedom in the right way they become more confident about themselves. Supervision is fundamental, so that kids don’t go the wrong way.
In conclusion, I can say that Danish educational system gives a lot of freedom to children, but as much as they give freedom they also give supervision. And that is different from my country, because in Latvia education and free time is based on supervision. Often children are not confident about themselves and they are also afraid to ask, if they don’t know something. In my opinion, Danish children are more independent and they are brave enough to ask questions and be confident in their action. And I think it has to do a lot with the freedom they receive. But as I said before there is no absolute freedom, there is always supervision. Supervision is necessary to keep children grounded and help them follow the right path in their life.
