HRM helps to fine a qualitative, able-bodied, apropos, active and suitable candidate for this work place. It include many functions and activities, which can help for employer to get the best worker, who will represent his company. As an employer, you want to hire the right employee for the right job. HRM is seen by practitioners in the field as a more innovative view of workplace management than the traditional approach. Its techniques force the managers of an enterprise to express their goals with specificity so that they can be understood and undertaken by the workforce, and to provide the resources needed for them to successfully accomplish their assignments.
In a growing number of organizations human resources are now viewed as a source of competitive advantage. There is greater recognition that distinctive competencies are obtained through highly developed employee skills, distinctive organizational cultures, management processes and systems.
In terms of recruitment and selection it is important to consider carrying out a thorough job analysis to determine the level of skills/technical abilities, competencies, flexibility of the employee required etc. At this point it is important to consider both the internal and external factors that can have an impact on the recruitment of employees.
The external factors are those out-with the powers of the organization and include issues such as current and future trends of the labor market - skills, education level, government investment into industries etc.…
