Chaos on the island
In the novel Lord of the Flies, written by William Golding, the reader can see how a society of boys quickly dissolves into a chaotic and erratic group of salvages. The boys, or any society for that matter, cannot safely function without proper leadership, law enforcement, and a structured environment. It is the lack of these three elements that lead to chaos on the island.
